I'm looking forward to Joann Ross' "Sea Glass Winter." I'm a fan of the Shelter Bay series.
ReplyDeleteI believe PJ and Janga are, too, Jane. Enjoy!
DeleteJanga and I are both long-time fans of JoAnn Ross. Janga reviewed Sea Glass Winter for us in December. Here's the link:

Perfect fit, Carly Phillips, the riksk taker Kira Sinclair
ReplyDeleteWhoo
Kimh
One of these days I need to read a Carly Phillips book, Kim!
DeleteI haven't read Kira Sinclair yet but I'm a long-time fan of Carly Phillips and am really enjoying her Serendipity series. Perfect Fit is on my tbr!
DeleteI'm looking forward to the JQ anthology; I'm not much of an Eloisa James fan. It seems to me that there are several author on the historical list that are new to me, so will check some of these books out and give the authors a try.
ReplyDeleteDeb, The Lady Most Willing... will be my reward after I read and write reviews for two books. Can't wait!
DeleteThe Lady Most Willing... is wonderful! I grinned from beginning to end. I'm not sure which of the ladies (Quinn/James/Brockway) came up with the idea of co-writing a novel but when these three talented authors (and good friends) get together, the result is magic!
Deletei'm looking forward to Shades of Earth – Beth Revis and Nobody – Jennifer Lynn Barnes :D
ReplyDeleteCool! I hope you enjoy them, mariska!
DeleteOh so many new books and so little time :D
ReplyDeleteHaven't read any of these yet but, I want to read:
The Chocolate Kiss – Laura Florand & The Scoundrel Takes a Bride – Stefanie Sloane.
Tell me about it, Jo's Daughter! I need more time, too. :)
DeleteI'm looking forward to reading Aftershock by Jill Sorenson and A Lady Most Willing.
ReplyDeleteYay! Another Lady Most Willing... fan! Enjoy, Maureen!
DeleteSweet Tea for Two and Perfect Fit.
ReplyDeletePat, have you read Honey Grove? I did and really enjoyed it. :)
DeleteI love checking this list every month, Andrea. You'll love The Lady Most Willing. It's such a fun read and by three of the best in the business, all three top favorites with me.
ReplyDeleteI've already read the following.
The Seduction of Elliot McBride – Jennifer Ashley
The Lady Most Willing… – Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Connie Brockway
True Love at Silver Creek Ranch – Emma Cane
Sugar Springs – Kim Law
Sea Glass Winter – JoAnn Ross
Chance of a Lifetime – Jodi Thomas
Countdown to First Night – Jillian Hart, Margaret Daly, Barbara Minton
These are on my TBR or TBB shelves (wooden or electronic):
Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker – Jennifer Chiaverini
A Breath of Scandal – Elizabeth Essex
The Scoundrel Takes a Bride – Stefanie Sloane
Waking Up with a Rake – Connie Mason & Mia Marlowe
Moonlight Masquerade – Jude Deveraux
The Chocolate Kiss – Laura Florand
The Road to Cardinal Valley – Earlene Fowler
The Missing Manuscript of Jane Austen – Syrie James
Here I Go Again – Jen Lancaster
Me Before You – Jojo Moyes
Out of Warranty – Haywood Smith
The Plum Tree – Ellen Marie Wiseman
Dream Eyes – Jayne Ann Krentz
Jen Lancaster is a new writer to me, but I love the sound of a book about the high school mean girl who grows up and meets karma. There's a reason SEP's Aint't She Sweet is an all-time favorite. :)
Thanks, Janga. While composing this list, I added Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker to my own TBB list. You'll have to let me know how you like it!
DeleteI'm just getting back into reading mode now that the holiday frenzy has passed. Of the January releases, I've only read The Lady Most Willing... but I have many more on my tbr.
ReplyDeleteLots of great reading ahead! I'm most looking forward to:
The Seduction of Elliot McBride - Jennifer Ashley
Wyoming Bride - Joan Johnston
Perfect Fit - Carly Phillips
Sea Glass Winter - JoAnn Ross
Timber Creek - Veronica Wolff
Killing Time - Cindy Gerard
Glad to hear it, PJ. Every year I say I'm going to read more during the holidays and I never do. I need to not say that and be surprised when I'm able to read a little! lol
DeleteAndrea, thanks for the great list! As always, I'm staggered by the number of books coming out in the month ahead. I haven't actually read any of these. So many of them look inviting, and I know I can read only a few.
ReplyDeleteI don't read a lot of contemporary or YA, so that narrows the field a bit. I'm pleased to see a slight uptick in the number of RS releases due. I've been looking forward to Killing Time, the start of a new series from Cindy Gerard, and I always like Cindy Dees' books.
In historical, I keep eyeing Demon's Curse by Alexa Egan. I don't read a lot of shifter books, though, and that looks like one. So I'm wavering. But it also has a Waterloo angle, which I like.
Thanks, Nancy. This list doesn't even cover them all!
Deletetrying to keep the list short this month so can continue to tackle the tbr pile to make room for all the good books coming out in upcoming months :)
ReplyDeleteenjoyed/recommend:
The Lady Most Willing… – Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Connie Brockway
looking forward to:
The Seduction of Elliot McBride – Jennifer Ashley
Last Kiss Goodnight – Gena Showalter
Happy New Year, here's another fab year of good reading of great books :)
I hear you, gamistress. I have so many on my TBB list for next month!
DeleteI am reading
ReplyDeleteThe Lady Most Willing… – Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Connie Brockway, what is amazing to me is I can't tell who wrote what and though I love all the authors I really did think I would be able to tell which was which by their writing style but apparently not! LOL
Looking forward to
The Husband List – Janet Evanovich & Dorien Kelly
Perfect Fit – Carly Phillips
After reading the comments I can see I will have to add a few more to my tbr pile, which should be read as TBR Mountain
I believe quite a few of us can call it a mountain, Dianna! lol Glad you're enjoying The Lady Most Willing...
DeleteI don't think I have read any of them yet, but can't wait to read TLMW, The Seduction of Elliott Mcbride(when I find it) local store didn't have it when i went the other day, I have Linda Lael Millers just haven't read it yet, their was about 25 on the list I wanted to read
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy them, regencygirl!
DeleteI'm still catching up with lots of books, but I read The Lady Most Willing by Julia Quinn, Eloisa James and Connie Brockway, and it was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to Forever A Lord by Dleilah Marvelle and The Husband List by Janet Evanovich & Dorien Kelly. I've read lots of Janet Evanovich's books so I'm interested to see her style in a historical romance :)
Oh, I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed TLMW, Cerian! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'm afraid I haven't gotten to any January reads since I'm still reading last years lol. At some point I will give up and start anew lol. Historicals are always first on my list but I do slip in other genres because I like a bit of variety!
ReplyDeleteI am woefully behind in my personal reading, catslady, so I completely understand!!
DeleteLoved your suggestions list, but I'm so confused, there are son many amazing books to choose from. My choice would be: Forever a Lord and Seven nights in a Rogue's bed. I will start reading them soon! I always, add a book to my list "to read" ..
ReplyDeleteThat's the only "problem", Nicole...picking only a few to buy! lol
DeleteWell, I wonder if I just should say the ones I am not looking forward to...but even that is none!
ReplyDeleteI will try to read most.
I read Lady Most Willing and I LOVED it.....unexpected pleasure in all three parts!
I know I will need so much time because there are so many I am desperately waiting for in Feb and March too....
AND I have started writing...this is getting interesting.
Hope
Yay! Good for you, Hope! It should be very interesting indeed. ;-)
DeleteThe lady most likely... love the first book... how can you go wrong with 3 great writers? :)
ReplyDeleteI know, right?! Thanks for stopping by, May!
DeleteShades of Grey and Killing Time are on the top of my list. I love romantic suspense and MayaBanks and Cindy Gerard write the best books. but there are some small town contemporaries I am looking forward to as well. Looks like the beginning of a great reading year.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great beginning, Trish!
DeleteLinda howard's shadow woman. I'm curious how this one'll turn out, cause i'm quite disappointed with some of her latest work
ReplyDeleteI've never read Linda Howard, sienny. I must be missing out!
DeleteI definitely want to read The Lady Most Willing, The Seduction of Elliot McBride, The Husband List, Perfect Fit, Chance of a Lifetime, Shadow Woman and Dream Eyes. Lots of great choices to start the year off!
ReplyDeleteSeduction Of A Highland Warrior by Sue-Ellen Welfonder releases on the 29th. I've been looking forward to it. The Temptation Of Your Touch by Teresa Medeiros is another I have been patiently awaiting. Most of the ones you listed above are on my reading radar. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are a few new to me authors in Historical I'm looking forward to reading.
ReplyDeleteAnother great year of reading ahead I see.
Stefanie Sloan, Blythe Gifford, Joan Johnston I haven't read her books for several years!, Cindy Gerard, Carly Phillips, Samantha Hunter,Connie Mason & Mia Marlowe, Linda Howard and Maya Banks.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Sounds like a great start to 2013!
Goodness, there is only one I am looking forward to. "The Seduction Of Elliot McBride". I love that series!
ReplyDeleteThe Scoundrel Takes a Bride by Stefanie Sloan is on the top of my TBR list for 2013! After reading her first release which I loved I haven't missed reading any of her books!
ReplyDeleteI give up. I am never going to be current on anything I am reading. I am years behind on my TBR Mountain and keep adding to it. As usual, many of the historicals appeal and for a change, quite a few of the contemporaries.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Linda Howard's right now. I'll also read Julia quinn's and Jennifer Ashley's new books.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for Jennifer Ashley's newest! *fangirling*
